Multiplex Detection Multiple Vacuum Sources Tubing-Free Microfluidic Platform
Traditional instrument detection process is quite time-consuming and costly. Our team has developed vacuum-powered lab-on-a-disk platforms with multi-channel detection capability and on-chip acoustic transceiver biosensors for point-of-care testing of biomarkers in samples. Biomedical sensors with highly-specific artificial antibodies can be designed for a variety of biomarkers. The advantages of the developed platform are low cost, ease of use, rapid detection, and high accuracy.
The developed sensing system with microfluidic disks owns several unique patented technologies. The limit of detection of the developed system is below 2 ppb. And the measurement error is 1.80% for antibiotics drug detection. MORE

Plasma is typically separated from whole blood in hospital laboratories through bench-top centrifuges, which require improvements, and managing a miniscule amount of whole-blood samples is especially difficult. Our team has developed vacuum-powered lab-on-a-chip platforms with on-chip blood plasma separation and electrical detection for point-of-care testing of disease biomarkers in blood samples. Biomedical sensors with highly-specific artificial antibodies can be designed for a variety of biomarkers. The advantages of the developed platform are low cost, ease of use, rapid detection, and high accuracy.
The developed sensing system with COC plastic microfluidic chips owns several unique patented technologies. The blood plasma can be separated at high purity within 90 seconds and the detection can be done in one single step. MORE
